I am a Commercial underwriter with 7+ years of underwriting experience. I have an Associate Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation and have worked with several agencies in territories located in Ohio, Kentucky and Texas during my time in the industry. With a current commercial book size of in premium, I have managed this growing book of both new and renewal business. This book of business includes all lines of coverage throughout several classes of business. Along with managing a growing book, I have also been involved in training of new underwriters, annual visits to agents and several miscellaneous projects to assist the commercial department at Acuity. The skills I possess and utilize in this role include: time management, organization, risk assessment, analytical decision making, product and coverage knowledge, communication and ability to build relationships. As I pride myself on these skills and my ability to utilize them each day, I strive to improve and grow my career within the insurance industry.
