With a penchant for independent thinking, painstakingly taken several path breaking initiatives for bank’s growth through varied strategies in various positions at Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank and UCO Bank. As General Manager, Projects & Information Technology in Bank of Baroda, successfully created the blueprint and supervised implementation of the most ambitious technology initiative - The Technology Enabled Business Transformation Program encompassing 100% automation of both domestic and overseas Branches through migration to Core Banking Solution, and enhancement of technology platform through implementation of RTGS, NEFT, Cash Management Solution, Phone Banking, Internet Banking, Retail Depository, Institutional On-line Trading, Data Warehouse, Global Treasury, Risk Management, Anti-Money Laundering, Human Resources Information System, Centralization of Swift, City Back Office, Regional Back Office, Internet Payment Gateway and a world class Tier 3 Data Centre. The successful implementation of technology project enabled Bank of Baroda to conduct its business more efficiently and effectively and take up a leadership position amongst Public Sector Banks in India. The excellence in execution of time bound initiatives has been the hallmark of career at all the three banks. As CMD Corporation Bank, creative thinking led to new business structures and unique build of brand image resulting in phenomenal growth in Retail and SME business in particular and overall business in general.
