About Ajay Bhatnagar

I thrive at the intersection of technology and teamwork. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across the globe—from India to Australia to Canada—leading diverse teams in delivering innovative software solutions. My journey has taken me through various roles such as Cloud Architect and Engineering Manager, and lately I found real excitement as a Technical Program Manager at Amazon. Here, I get to orchestrate complex projects that impact millions of users and billions in GMS spending. One of my proudest moments was leading a project that delivered secure cloud solutions for over 100 million customers. It was a massive undertaking that required not just technical expertise but also collaboration across multiple teams and time zones. I’ve also been fortunate enough to manage projects with budgets up to $25 million—each one teaching me something new about leadership and innovation.I’ve always believed in the power of mentorship. Leading teams at Reliance Industries, Indralok and Eclipsys allowed me to guide talented engineers while fostering an environment where creativity flourishes. Whether it’s through agile methodologies or hands-on coaching, I strive to empower my team members to reach their full potential.Outside of work, I’m passionate about continuous learning—having recently completed programs in AI & ML from Texas McCombs School of Business and Cloud Computing from Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business. This thirst for knowledge keeps me engaged with emerging technologies that can drive our industry forward. If you’re interested in discussing cloud strategies or program management best practices—or just want to connect—feel free to reach out via email! I’m always open to new conversations.Skills- Technical Program Management- Cloud Computing - Software Development- Agile Methodologies- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning- Microservices Architecture- Team Leadership & Mentorship
