About Ajay Dua

I lead IBM’s legal team in Asia Pacific (including Japan and China). As a member of the leadership team, I am involved in all strategic matters and maintain oversight on all matters relevant to company's interest. Am involved in corporate and commercial contracts, merger and acquisition matters, software licensing, Human Resource (HR) matters, litigation and compliance issues. Prior to this, was leading the IBM law department in Middle East & Africa covering all countries in Africa, Middle East & Turkey. Before, that I was leading the India/ South Asia region having responsibility of legal matters in the region including the global missions. I have previously worked in a law firm handling corporate and commercial matters, project finance deals, acquisitions as well as Government disinvestments and privatizations. I am a British Chevening scholar and a qualified solicitor of England & Wales. I am an alumini of IBM Corporate Service Corps having served on a project in Brazil. I have received several recognitions and awards including the prestigious Best of IBM award instituted in the IBM centennial year.
