About Ajay Mehta

I work at the intersection of engineering automation, AI, and large-scale systems.Over the past 15+ years, I’ve supported teams across cloud engineering, test automation, and security platforms — helping transform complex, manual workflows into reliable systems that scale. At Salesforce, I’m a Lead Member of Technical Staff supporting Tableau Pulse / TabNext, where my focus is on engineering productivity and release reliability. My work includes test orchestration, feature-flag automation, environment validation, and building tooling that allows teams to ship faster with confidence.More recently, I’ve been exploring how AI can move beyond productivity boosts and into practical engineering use cases — such as agent-assisted runbooks, automated validations, and evaluation frameworks that improve trust and decision-making rather than replace it.I enjoy working on problems where clarity is missing, ownership is unclear, and systems need to be simplified — especially in environments where scale makes manual processes unsustainable.Always open to connecting with people building thoughtful, reliable systems — whether in automation, platform engineering, or applied AI.
