A motivated molecular biologist and Ph.D. researcher driven to turn science into solutions. With hands-on expertise in assay development for drug discovery, I tackle one of today’s biggest challenges: drug resistance. My doctoral work focuses on the ribosome rescue pathway of trans-translation in pathogens like Mycobacterium tuberculosis, developing next-gen therapeutics that overcome existing resistance. I’ve designed and executed in-depth biochemical, biophysical and radiometric assays to characterize small molecule–target interactions, driving progress in understanding drug mechanisms and accelerating the development of more effective therapies.
