About Akansha Sinha

I am a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a solid academic background and diverse work experience. I recently completed my MBA in Finance and Operations from IILM University with an impressive 8.83 CGPA, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Patna Women's College. My educational qualifications, along with my relevant certifications and internships, have equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in the field of finance and data analysis. During my short tenure as a Senior Associate at Innodata India Pvt. Ltd, I worked on multiple projects dealing with financial documents of US clients from a variety of industries, including loans, insurance, and banking. I mapped out the content of financial documents with defined data points in the online platform, compiled economic data into a single metric, and achieved the assigned targets working to timelines whilst adhering to great quality standards. I was also exposed to working on multiple projects as per requirement and need. Additionally, I independently reviewed 200+ financial documents for accuracy and precision of data on a daily basis, managed and kept track of the documents, and extracted required data and generated reports in accordance with customer specifications. Prior to this, I have gained relevant experience through internships at The Money Roller, ShriRam Life Insurance, and EmAlpha. At The Money Roller, I conducted equity research on the Heavy Electrical Equipment sector by studying the sector and a company, and carried out fundamental analysis of Aarti Industries Ltd. I sold 5 life insurance policies by cold calling, resolving clients' concerns, and converting them into potential customers at ShriRam Life Insurance, and researched emerging markets of Poland and Greece at EmAlpha. I also constructed portfolios for different age groups, analyzed financial statements, and engaged in virtual trading on the Moneybhai platform. Apart from my academic and work experience, I have held various positions of responsibility at EmAlpha, EcoFin Club, Markeligion, and Management Maverick. I have also obtained relevant certifications in data analysis through Excel, financial modeling, MS Office, Tableau, and quickbooks. In conclusion, my diverse background in finance, coupled with my passion for data analysis, has allowed me to develop a unique skill set that I believe will add value to any organization.
