Currently, as a Senior Design Coordinator at ONxpress, I oversee design consultant teams and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project agreements. I am responsible for seamless design integration, managing project timelines, and delivering designs that align with both schedule and budget requirements. My role involves facilitating design reviews, coordinating with external stakeholders, and addressing any design issues to keep projects on track. Previously, as a Design Coordinator at Crosslinx Transit Solutions, I played a pivotal role in the Eglinton Light Rail Train project. I prepared scopes of work, coordinated with subcontractors, reviewed and approved invoices, and addressed client concerns in a timely manner. My responsibilities included developing schedules, ensuring compliance with construction specifications, and managing design and construction issues effectively. I also supported upper management with visual presentations and helped in the development of utility reinstatement and traffic management plans. I hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Amity University, India, and have furthered my expertise with post-graduate courses in Project Management from Centennial College and BIM Management from George Brown College, both in Toronto.
