About Akash Bose

Working in the Procurement Department at Volkswagen Middle Middle East, I support with the tender document issuance and market research, build and maintain relationships with suppliers, and assist with drafting and reviewing contracts and contract orders. I enjoy applying my organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the procurement department. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Derby in 2023, with a focus on Hospitality Administration/Management. During my studies, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry, as well as in business administration, management, and marketing. I also had the opportunity to work as an IT Operator for the Hayya Project during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, where I learned how to use technology to enhance the customer experience and the event management. Additionally, I completed a summer internship as an HR Intern at Beton WLL, where I helped with employee record management, employee engagement activities, and resume reviewing. I am an adventure seeker, lifelong learner, and enthusiast for creativity, mindfulness, and meaningful connections. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and challenge myself. I am also passionate about creating positive and memorable experiences for customers, colleagues, and partners.
