Testing Maze! My Journey Through Software Testing. It all started with a single click, a leap of faith into the world of software testing. Little did I know that it would lead me to a thrilling labyrinth of tests and challenges. From the adrenaline rush of Sanity and Smoke testing to the meticulous scrutiny of Functional and Regression testing, I explored the vast landscape of software quality assurance. And oh, the adventures! With each End-to-End test, I delved deeper into the intricacies of the banking-financial and health care domains, ensuring the reliability and resilience of systems that impact lives. But it didn't stop there! I dived into UI Level Testing, revealing the magic of cosmetic perfection and the satisfaction of Positive Testing (or as I like to call it, Happy Testing!). Yet, the darkness of Negative Testing and the unpredictability of Adhoc and Exploratory Testing kept me on my toes. Integration Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT) became my trusty compass, guiding me through the interwoven threads of software components. And yes, I even dared to face the mischievous Monkey Testing, unearthing hidden vulnerabilities and strengthening the digital fortresses. Designing test cases became an art, as I employed techniques like Equivalence Class Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Table, State Transition, and Error Guessing. I thrived in the rhythm of analyzing user stories, preparing status reports, and actively participating in daily stand-up meetings. By fostering better communication and collaboration, we built a strong foundation for success. Proficiency in Python and SQL empowered me to harness the power of automation and data analysis, while MySQL and Jira became my trusted companions for efficient bug tracking and defect management. As a Software Test Engineer at Cognizant Technology Solutions, I had the privilege of working on groundbreaking projects. From the Equity Trade System in the Banking and Finance domain to Clear Eyes, catering to the Health Care industry, I collaborated closely with exceptional teams to ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions. 🤝 With an insatiable hunger for knowledge, I effortlessly grasped new technical concepts and adapted to evolving technologies.
