About Akash Modi

I have always loved building new things and understanding how new technology impacts innovation and advancement. It has always been a dream of mine to set up a large-scale factory floor integrating multiple manufacturing technologies and automated machinery that can help others bring their ideas/innovations/creations to life. After working in financial services for 2 years, I decided to pursue my dream by joining Tesseract in 2019, a company involved in 3D printer sales & 3D printing services. Once we realised the potential for the revolutionary 3D printing technology, we wanted to take it up in a big way. That was when we decided to have a team of designers to become a one stop solution for innovators to bring their ideas to life and for us to become a part of the product development journey start to end! Operations management and planning are my areas of interest. Strategizing, swift decision making and problem-solving with relation to operations have always been the top priority. Being able to complete complex projects in short time frames and testing the limits of achieving complex designs in every sector from manufacturing to architecture, with this game changing technology is my top priority. Being in this industry for over 7 years, we have diversified into multiple manufacturing technologies. At Tesseract, we now offer Design Development, 3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering, Design For Manufacturing, 3D Printing Services (spanning different technologies in 3D printing universe), CNC Machining, Mould Making & Injection Moulding and additional manufacturing technologies.
