About Akash Saseendran

I am an Energy Engineer with experience in building energy performance, compliance reporting, and sustainable design practices. My work is rooted in improving energy efficiency and supporting climate-conscious solutions across residential and commercial projects. At Verdé Environmental Group, I contribute to technical assessments, energy audits, and the integration of renewable technologies—such as solar PV systems—as part of broader energy performance strategies aimed at reducing operational demand and advancing decarbonization goals. Previously, at 2eva Energy Consultants, I was primarily involved in Building Energy Rating (BER) assessments, Energy Roadmap reports, Part L compliance documentation, and technical evaluations aligned with national and EU energy standards. This role strengthened my expertise in building regulations, energy modelling, and the preparation of detailed compliance and performance reports for retrofit and new-build projects. In addition to being a registered SEAI BER Assessor, I have completed NZEB training through WWETB, including the Design and Commissioning of Ventilation Systems course accredited by City & Guilds. I have also undertaken SEAI’s EXEED Design training, which focuses on embedding energy efficiency principles at the earliest stages of project development in line with the IS 399 standard. These certifications have strengthened my ability to deliver technically robust, regulation-compliant solutions that align with Ireland’s national energy targets and support clients in achieving long-term performance and sustainability outcomes.
