About Akash Take

Akash is currently pursuing his Masters in Engineering Management at Purdue University. His interest lies in building and managing technology powered products, services and experiences, and leading technical teams by being data-driven and practicing structural thinking and customer empathy. At Microsoft, he was a part of the Azure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and worked as a Product Manager for Azure Backup for Databases as a part of his summer internship in the 2023. Having a Bachelor of Technology degree with a major in Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India, he excels in the domain knowledge of Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Engineering. During the final year bachelor's thesis, he worked on developing a vehicle route optimization model for the Quick ECommerce industry in India to introduce sustainability and efficiency in the outbound logistics operations. He has worked as a Product Design and Development Research Intern at the Low Speed Aerodynamics Lab, IIT Bombay designing hardware products crucial to measure the performance of the multi-rotor UAVs. Akash's goal is to contribute to making the world a better place to live by using his skills and expertise to build products and processes that make human life simpler and better.
