About Akeem Reid

Since October 2021, I have been an apprentice at Accenture through the CareerWise Youth Apprenticeship Program in New York. This highly selective, three-year program has allowed me to gain valuable work experience and grow professionally. As an apprentice, I have continued to refine my professional and on-the-job skills, while also contributing to the Accenture business. I am a rising Junior at Vanguard Highschool. A little bit about my self is that I have maintained a High Honor Roll in my school which is something I am extremely proud of since consistency is something I strive for. I am apart of Student Voice which is something that gives me the opportunity to fight for change in the school community. I've learned how to communicate as a team and facilitate countless projects which is why it is special to me. Acting plays an important part in my life as I've taken acting classes for over four years and have been in plays sponsored by Broadway junior.
