Served as an Instructor/Writer for the Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course (ABOLC) class at the United States Army Armor School in Ft. Benning, GA, with a daily strength of three cadre and 70+ students with an annual load of over 800+ students; coordinated and synchronized logistical and administrative support among numerous support agencies to facilitate student training; acts as a mentor and counselor, and established standards of conduct and accountability to newly commissioned officers; supervised and refined physical readiness training, land navigational training, and land combat tactics. Operated and maintained 20+, multi-purpose, military vehicles, with zero accidents/losses of equipment. Led 100+ equipment-convoys through highly hazardous areas, with accuracy. Master of mapping/location skills. Conducted operations and training on a full spectrum; assisted the Operations Sergeant Major in the planning, preparation, and execution of combat training missions; enforced tactical and Soldier discipline; supervised and assisted Training, prepared the TOC for orders, drills, briefs, Serious Incident Reports (SIRs); responsible for the accountability, maintenance, and readiness of equipment in excess of $3.2 million; was responsible for the health, welfare, training and operational readiness of 3 NCO's and 8 Soldiers in the section. Honorable retirement after 20 years of service.
