About Akhil Soni

I am a Software Engineer at Microsoft with a background in Chemical Science and Technology from IIT Guwahati. My passion lies in programming and data science, where I enjoy uncovering insights from data to solve complex, challenging problems. Over the past few years, I have worked on cutting-edge projects involving AI-powered search systems that combine knowledge graphs with advanced language models, real-time computer vision features for mobile apps, large-scale cloud migrations of critical business tools, and backend performance optimizations that significantly improve efficiency. What drives me is the opportunity to tackle difficult or seemingly impossible problems by combining strong technical skills with mathematical thinking. I’m excited about building intelligent systems that make a real impact and continuously learning new technologies to push the boundaries of what software can achieve.
