About Akihiko Sangawa

My career goal is to create a well-organized institution by resolving organizational inefficiencies and conflicts to achieve greater results. In the past, I have been a part of more than 15 projects in Accenture Japan Ltd, focusing on local governments and logistics companies. To accomplish a harmonized business, as a technology consultant, I have supported business design, operations design, and transformation from the perspective of total optimization. Through my ten years of work experience, I have collaboratively integrated business and technology in client organizations. I am currently in the Master of Information Systems Management program at Carnegie Mellon University. My focus is to investigate how enterprise applications can help employees decline managerial overheads. I believe that Information technologies, especially AI and robotics automation, can create a more sophisticated workplace by ensuring timeliness and reducing labor-intensive work. Outside of my academic interests, I love to visit museums to inspire my creativity stimulated by the paintings. I am an avid reader and a mindfulness practitioner; these practices routinely relax and energize me.
