About Akiko Lyons

Of 18 years practical experience working in software development, I worked in product development and delivery applying both traditional and agile ways producing mainly digital products and services in many sectors. Since 2007, I have been practising Agile and Lean to master. My journey with Agile and Lean started as a Scrum Master, and later I started coaching teams and beyond. I have experience in Agile and digital transformation in which some of the initiatives were at the enterprise level. I also have experience in acting in some Product Owner roles. The certifications that I hold are the Kanban practitioner, the advanced scrum master (A-CSM), the Agile team facilitation (ICP-ATF), the Agile coaching (ICP-ACC) and the coaching Agile transition (ICP-CAT). In addition, I have been practising design thinking since 2014 in most of the initiatives. Teams that I worked with and coached were both in-house and with suppliers, including offshore teams, within international, cross-functional and matrix environments. My professional career also includes project and programme management, business analysis, change management, stakeholder and supplier management, service management (ITIL V3 Foundation) and infrastructure management for web applications and networks.
