About Akis Galanidis

I’m a Tax Technology professional with over 6 years of experience spanning statutory accounting, audit, tax compliance, and — more recently — Tax transformation. I began my career managing accounting and tax for SMEs across sectors like hospitality, IT, and real estate. This foundation in financial processes and regulatory detail allows me to approach tax transformation leveraging technology with both accuracy and insight. Today, at Deloitte’s Tax Technology team, I help multinational clients automate complex tax workflows, including ERP data integration and compliance for Pillar II. I work with tools like Alteryx, SAP PaPM, and Oracle EPM to design scalable, end-to-end solutions. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Big Data Analytics to expand my technical capabilities in data modeling, predictive insights, and automation — with the goal of building smarter, more adaptive tax and finance systems.
