About Me As a Research Scientist with over 9 years of experience in cancer biology, molecular medicine, and radiation sciences, I specialize in translating complex biological questions into actionable insights through experimental design and molecular analysis. My academic journey at University Hospital Essen involved leading projects on hypoxia, HIF1α, and DNA damage, where I developed and optimized assays including Comet, BaseScope, ELISA, and qPCR. My PhD dissertation focused on enhancing radiosensitivity in hepatocytes, combining biochemical precision with translational impact. 🤝Beyond technical expertise, I bring a collaborative mindset, having worked closely with interdisciplinary teams in bioinformatics and imaging. I’ve also mentored student and delivered scientific presentations across international platforms.
