Akriti is an expert in mixed-methods research. At HMH, she drives strategic research that informs product roadmaps. She leads workshops to inform product strategy, conducts discovery research, and analyzes product analytics to drive data-driven insights. At Microsoft, she performed product research with generative AI tools, informing product redesigns. Her work included foundational and evaluative research, collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform design, product, and marketing strategies. Through diverse methodologies such as diary studies, co-design sessions, and usability testing, she ensured user needs were at the heart of product development. Previously, at OneSpan, Akriti conducted research on products related to authentication, security, and e-signatures, working closely with users ranging from early adopters of digitization to advanced power users. She leveraged tools like Pendo to build a data-driven strategy for product development. She also led initiatives like creating a customer council, implementing continuous discovery, and organizing company-wide hackathons to drive design thinking.
