About Akshat Mehta

a developer with a strong focus on machine learning, ai, and software engineering, passionate about building real-world solutions that make an impact. with experience spanning deep learning, cloud-native api development, and even quantum computing, i bring a unique blend of practical engineering skills and research-driven problem solving. i have led projects developing llm-powered recipe generation systems, engineered cybersecurity evaluation tools using cnns and anns, and implemented rsa decryption demonstrations on ibm quantum labs using shor’s algorithm. i’m also experienced in building production-grade rest apis with react.js and express.js, and optimizing high-performance computing workflows using docker. my work is results-focused—reducing processing times from months to minutes, improving model accuracy to over 85%, and streamlining deployment pipelines to deliver production-ready solutions. i’m skilled at collaborating in agile environments, writing maintainable code, and translating complex ai models into scalable applications. my core technologies include python, pytorch, tensorflow, fastapi, aws, docker, mlflow, and hugging face transformers. i’m especially excited about the intersection of ai, cloud deployments, and quantum computing. as a master’s student at rit, i’m eager to join teams that are solving meaningful challenges with cutting-edge technology.
