About Akshay Agarwal

I am a Credit Risk professional with deep experience managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios, assessing financial health, and supporting decision making. At Sony Electronics, I oversee a $1.4B credit portfolio across Consumer, Medical, Imaging, and Industrial sectors, ensuring sound credit practices while enabling business growth. My expertise includes credit risk management, financial statement analysis, and portfolio performance reviews. I work closely with senior managements to help strengthen sales strategies, improve forecasting, and guide long-term planning. With experience managing accounts for major clients such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and Costco, I bring a strong track record of safeguarding assets while maintaining high-value relationships. I specialize in turning complex financial data into clear reports and presentations that highlight risk trends, benchmark results, and connect analytics directly to business strategy. This approach helps organizations reduce exposure, optimize performance, and align financial decisions with overall growth objectives.
