About Akshay Kumar Joshi

I am an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Santosh University, Ghaziabad, where I teach, mentor, and conduct research on neurology and rehabilitation. I have a Master's degree in occupational therapy from the same university, and over four years of work experience as an occupational therapist in various settings. I have worked as a research assistant at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped, where I helped design and implement interventions for people with neurological disorders. I have also worked as an occupational therapist at Max Healthcare, where I provided assessment, treatment, and education for patients with orthopedic and stroke conditions. I have skills in orthopedics, rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, and neurology, and I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of occupational therapy in India. My core competencies include teaching, research, clinical reasoning, communication, and collaboration. My mission is to empower my students, colleagues, and clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
