With a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB) from Institute of Finance, Banking & Insurance (IFBI) and multiple certifications in AML, trade finance, and documentary credit, I have over nine years of experience in the banking sector, specializing in compliance, risk management, and regulatory affairs.As a Compliance Manager at SBM Bank (India), I led the AML and Sanctions team, coordinated with internal stakeholders to implement FIU reports for Finnet 2.0 portal, examined alerts, and prepared Ground of Suspicion (GOS) for suspicious cases. I also reviewed notices and emails from various law enforcement agencies and ensured high quality standards and adherence to TAT. Previously, at Citi, I processed foreign exchange currency payments, trade KYC checks, compliance and AML checks, and reported transactions. I am passionate about enhancing the compliance culture and safeguarding the bank from financial crimes and risks.
