I’m an Engineering Manager passionate about redefining how developers build software—through AI-driven tooling, developer-centric platforms, and strategic technology choices. At Grab, I lead the Developer Experience (DevEx) Platform, where I focus on delivering measurable value to engineers by rigorously assessing tools, balancing build vs. buy decisions, and ensuring we adopt only what truly elevates developer productivity. From Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, and Sourcegraph Cody/Amp, to Claude Code, Devin AI, Windsurf, Lovable and GitLab Duo etc, I’ve led the evaluation, rollout, and integration of multiple AI coding assistants—prioritizing tools that offer deep context awareness, agentic workflows, and scalable code transformation. I don’t just follow trends—I measure impact, iterate fast, and adopt what works best for our engineers. My scope also includes: • DevOps & Cloud Infra: AWS, Terraform, CDK • Observability & Reliability: Datadog, ELK, CloudWatch • Developer Platform Engineering: Internal tools, performance metrics, and service maturity models I build resilient, scalable systems with a strong emphasis on developer experience—enabling teams to move faster, ship safer, and operate smarter. As a people-first leader, I’m passionate about mentoring, fostering innovation, and guiding teams through bold changes. I also manage vendor relationships, procurement, and budgets, ensuring we align technical investments with strategic outcomes and long-term sustainability.
