Hi, I'm Akshyae! TLDR- ambitious, restless entrepreneur with experience in AI, sales, PM, & growth. I'm 22 years old originally from New Delhi, India. studied the brain & AI at UCLA, currently building in AI Safety in SF. I've always been a passionate learner participating in every type of activity you could imagine when I was younger. I built my 1st venture in high school in response to high levels of air pollution affecting my family and I. What started as campaigns in my neighborhood turned into a movement involving schools across India. SaafSaans- offering sustainability opportunities to students at schools. Today- worked with 10+ schools, 1500+ students, 200+ internships to students, grown 200+ plants, 100k+ net views on social media, strive to make India air pollution free. I initially came to UCLA as an env engineering major. Immediately, I got into top research labs, worked with NASA JPL on remote sensing data analysis, was recognized as 1 of 20 sustainability leaders at UCLA, few 1st year students to travel to rural Africa to build water systems, very few who founded & taught their own class at ucla, awarded multiple scholarships net and invited to Singapore for a research internship. I realized going into my 2nd year that I wanted to step out of the env. niche & learn new skills. I left all of my achievements behind & entered Cognitive Science- the study of Human & Artificial Intelligence. I started to learn how to code & to learn Artificial Intelligence started doing AI workshops. Soon, this gained traction & today I have built UCLA's leading AI Automation Agency. Recruited 50 top AI engineers, Led the team as president and built products for Google, Amazon, BCG, GumGum etc. A few months later, my friend came to me to organize a research panel about AI Safety, I said let's dream bigger. A few months later it turned out to be SAIRS- the largest student-led AI Safety Conference in Southern California with 500+ students from across 20+ Universities, top speakers & sponsors. Then, I wanted to learn something completely different. So, in a shocking move I stepped down from president of Bruin AI. Soon, I started Aknowledge, a media venture revealing the most inspiring & interesting genZ stories across the USA. A few months later the CEO of Paramount invited me to pitch it to him in New York. Now, Im helping solve humanity's biggest problem yet- safe development of AI to build a secure future for all of us. We need EVERYONE- In free time I like to do yoga, soccer, try new things.
