About Al Parillon

Diligent, dynamic and analytical, I am in the business of solving your problems. Originally from the Caribbean island of Dominica, I am seen as someone who will deliver results, regardless of cost and situation. As my particular passion is to deal with your problems, software systems has always been, to me, a labor of love. My journey so far has been met with both hurdles and accomplishments. From being a part of the losing effort at my National Schools Football League and National debate competitions in 2013, right up to my National Mathematics competition win and my Android Certification from APTECH India in 2017, I have been naturally molded to work towards achieving the most out of my circumstances with an astounding zeal. In my opinion, it is not really useful to dwell on the past and much more useful to view the front-end firstly in order to crack the complex code of life (and if you love coding puns, let's have some java - you are certainly an exception). Being from an island of only 70k, you can probably tell that I am already a significant figure in my homeland, notwithstanding all of my National awards for Academia and Sport. In my industry, however, significance is brought forth through learning and analyzing which I effectively do well in. Coming to Canada (in particular British Columbia) was part of my mission to serve my country as the 2016 Island Scholar while enjoying the unique experiences that come along with it. Now a proud graduate from one of the top Business schools strongly joint with one of the premier Computer Science faculties, I'm now fully equipped with the expertise and network comprised of some of the brightest minds on the planet in an effort to solve your problems.
