About Alaa Daher

Dr. Alaa DAHER is an assistant professor in the ECE department at the faculty of engineering in Beirut Arab University. He he completed his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the faculty of Engineering of Islamic University of Lebanon, Beirut. Later in October 2018, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence, advanced signal processing, and automation engineering from the University of Normandy, Rouen, France. After completing his Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in July 2009, Dr. DAHER worked as a biomedical research engineer at the Doctoral school for sciences and technology at Lebanese University, where he supervised practical work of master's and Ph.D. students. In September 2010, he became a lecturer in the biomedical engineering program at Université de Technologie et de science appliquées Libano-Française (ULF), Faculties of science and engineering. He later held a mechatronics instructor position at the faculty of engineering at Beirut Arab University in Tripoli, Lebanon in August 2016. Dr. DAHER has supervised several engineering projects and published over 30 scientific papers in international conferences and journals. He has also reviewed numerous papers and articles for international conferences and journals. His scientific efforts have earned him multiple awards and honors from local and international educational and industrial institutions.
