About Alaa Madi

I am a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Windsor, specializing in Accounting with a minor in Information Technology. As a co-op student currently working in the Assurance service line at BDO Canada, I’m gaining valuable experience in audit practices, financial reporting, and client engagement. Beyond the classroom, I’m actively involved in academic and extracurricular leadership. I served as the Co-President of the Odette Accounting Society, where I helped foster student engagement, industry connections, and professional development opportunities. I’m also proud to be part of the Outstanding Scholars program, where I conduct research in areas of personal and academic interest. With a strong foundation in analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication, I am eager to continue developing professionally and contributing meaningfully in the field of accounting and beyond.
