About Alaa Mansour

Dr. Mansour is a Candain board certified periodontist. After graduation from the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University with an outstanding academic performance, He was awarded a job position as a teaching assistant in the department of oral medicine and periodontology in the faculty of dentistry at Mansoura University. He also obtained his clinical master's degree in periodontology which included the completion of a master thesis comparing the influence of both flap and flapless surgery on the peri-implant soft and hard tissues. Then, he joined the division of the craniofacial health sciences in the faculty of dentistry at McGill University, Canada where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences. During his journey at McGill University, he was able to make very important discoveries in tissue engineering, especially in the field of biomaterials for bone regeneration. Besides that, he shows highly active collaboration in other projects and participated in different scientific meetings not only to present his work, but also to get new ideas through meeting with other researchers, and build-up new relations with people from all over the world. Dr. Mansour has several publications in journals of high impact factor. Dr. Mansour joined the school of dental medicine at University at Buffalo, USA, where he obtained his certificate in periodontics. Currently, he is an assistant Professor in periodontics in Sharjah University, UAE.
