Currently serving as a Community Outreach & Recruiter for the American Red Cross in Philadelphia, I excel in matching volunteers to suitable positions and managing event logistics. My commitment to community service is exemplified by my active participation in Red Cross community events, where I engage with diverse groups to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives. I am also currently participating in the immigrant leadership course at the Welcoming Center. This has been an amazing experience for me, and I have learned about the role of the Welcoming Center and also the needs of immigrants in Philadelphia, I think this would prepare me well for this job. I have also learned many skills such as teamwork, communication, organizing events as well as working with the government to push initiatives to support immigrants. My expertise extends to HR administration, where I’ve supported organizations like Save The Children SRO and Action Against Hunger in Amman-Jordan. I have handled tasks ranging from payroll documentation to performance appraisals and recruitment processes and have visited refugee camps to check on HR teams and share tasks. Additionally, as a General Manager at the Latin American Cultural Center, I organized cultural events, recruited and trained staff, and managed various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. My teaching experience as an Arabic Language Helper further demonstrates my ability to adapt and communicate effectively across cultures. With a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature, I bring a strong educational foundation and a commitment to fostering positive change through my work.
