About Alain Dore

Alain Doré is Associate General Counsel and Head of Legal Services, Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Services | Corporate Office since April 2019.He joined Bombardier in after accumulating 10 years of private practice experience primarily in banking, corporate and real estate law.Between the time he started at Bombardier and his current appointment, Mr. Doré has held a variety of positions within the Bombardier Transportation Group, the Bombardier Aerospace Group and at Bombardier Corporate Office where he was involved in international mergers and acquisitions projects with a focus on Europe, China and Russia. He was also involved in projects, public transportation bidding, securities matters and negotiations of financing facilities, securitization programs and private placements in Canada, the US and in Europe. His current role has him involved in mergers and acquisitions, pension, governance and corporate matters.Mr. Doré obtained his LL.B from the Université de Montréal in 1988 and wascalled to the Quebec Bar in 1989. In 2005, the Business Magazine for Lawyers, LEXPERT, ranked him as one of the top 40 lawyers in Canada under 40 years old. He was a Board member and sat on the executive committee of Jeunes Entreprises du Québec, a non-profit organization, which promotes early entrepreneurial values and offers programs to students from grade 6 to CEGEP providing hands-on learning on how to start businesses that creates jobs.He was also a member and president of the Quebec Bar Committee representing in-house counsels for several years.
