Executive management for investment advisory and participation portfolio in the field of energy : hydrogen, infrastructures, technology, oil & gas, LNG. Experienced Board Member with positions in energy business in various companies and countries (France, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic.). More than 30-year operational experience along upstream and midstream gas chain, in kind of : • corporate steering and management as a member (Managing Director / Chairman) of statutory bodies of French, Hungarian, Czech and Slovak affiliates (from 1 up to 1 600 employees) • management of M&A projects in global energy / Oil & Gas (incl. Europe, Caspian Sea, South-East Asia, Africa.) • negotiation (/ re-negotiation) of long term gas supply contracts and short term gas sale and purchase transactions (/ underground gas storage capacity contracts), business & commercial development in Central and Eastern Europe (incl. management of dedicated team of negotiators for global gas trade) • international representation (incl. as a ‘European Observer’ appointed by European Commission in Kiev during Russia-Ukraine gas transit crisis in January 2009) and communication (as a speaker at international gas conferences / as a university lecturer) • corporate restructuring and process re-engineering (for underground gas storage / e&p activities) in Slovakia (NAFTA a.s- from 1 600 to 750 employees) • creation and follow-up of joint-ventures with GAZPROM, BD & projects management in Russia-CIS (energy saving, equipment production, revamping of urban heating systems with international financing) • management controlling / business reporting (post-acquisition audit and creation / follow-up of dedicated affiliate) for oil & gas exploration & production in Norway • operation and management of gas transport and underground gas storage facilities in France, Slovakia and Czech Republic A double education in (mechanical) engineering (ENSEM Nancy / Bath Univ. in England) and in energy economics & management (IFP School) A professional multi-language skill in French, English, Russian, Slovak A proven ability for geographical mobility and expatriation (incl. 8 years in Russia / Slovakia over almost 30-year career + 1 year in England as student)
