About Alain Viesca
I have been drawing, painting and sculpting for as long as I can remember. My art has largely defined who I am and where I am going. I think of myself primarily as a storyteller and my story is the illustration or sculpture that I make. I am constantly trying to learn new things and I consider myself primarily self taught. My primarily artistic interests are in fantasy, mythology and science. I have spent years of exhibiting my art extensively in North American and Latin American regions as well as networking, contracting and enjoying the traveling that came with it. I have been invited as the Artist Guest of Honor at various conventions and exhibitions including but not limited to Apollocon, Project AKON, ConDFW, FenCon, Conestoga, VisionCon & Soonercon as well as being aired on OETA and PBS Gallery Program on Digital Arts. I enjoy science & technology articles, a good sci-fi/fantasy or Chinese action flick, a well stocked pub and truly excellent and adventurous food.
