Growing up I was one of those kids who was always building galactic battleships with legos, crafting the next archetypal tree fort, or sketching robot-car-zombie monsters. This love of art and science, design and building, thought and craft, led me to the study and practice of architecture.Now, with nearly at 25-year career under my belt, I lead architectural teams to be "better every day." I work to inspire and support my teams to become better architects, designers, drafters, project managers, colleagues and community members. I strive to do better every day and inspire others to do the same with the hopes that each day we can make the world a better place.Empowering teams with unwavering clarity and genuine support, I lead with kindness, humor, self awareness and accountability. Balancing professionalism with authenticity, I navigate challenges with calm and composure, delivering prompt solutions while inspiring others to reach their full potential.I am passionate about not just meeting, but exceeding clients' expectations, and have a proven track record for delivering projects on time and on budget. I have led teams to deliver high quality services for almost 40 public projects for 14 public entity and engineering clients. In my almost fifteen years of experience guiding and designing projects for the public sector, I have developed a knack for facilitating cost-effective buildings that are functional and pleasing for people.I am a licensed architect in both Oregon and Washington and holds professional accreditation with the International Living Future Institute.
