About Alan Bailey

I have developed my personal skills from a young age to my current level as a CWI CSWIP 3.1/ NDT Technician PCN level 2 in MPI & Ultrasonic's. I have also acquired Quality inspection skills in a machine shop/fabrication environment over my career developing a broad spectrum of knowledge incorporating 5S skills to nurture a natural Lean thinking attitude towards business development. I can work as a team member or a team leader. I find it easy to delegate tasks ensuring they are delivered as enthusiastically as possible in order to motivate team members. My natural lean thinking/continuous improvement mindset always ensures any project delivered has a crucial input into a businesses value stream concentrating on the relevant KPI's within the business. My core knowledge is that of welding and fabrication and I pride myself my natural drive, my focus on attention to detail and a can do attitude. I also have a passion for creating an implementing documented control systems that encourage standardisation, traceability and efficiency culminating in easy to process Lifetime quality documentation (LTQR's). I see myself as an open minded individual with a flexible attitude towards learning in order to enhance my scope of knowledge throughout the engineering sector. I have an extremely enthusiastic attitude when implementing systems which are constantly reviewed proactively in order to improve business efficiencies rather than having to firefight situations reactively. I live my life with with a positive mindset and tend to focus on what can be achieved and not what can't.
