About Alan Beaudet

I’m a Product Development Test Technologist with 20+ years of experience in both vehicle and system room testing, I have worked on various refrigerant subsystems for major clients such as Ford, Hyundai, General Motors, FCA, Nissan, and Tesla. I am certified to work with all current vehicle level refrigerants. Until recently, I operated a system development room for Hanon Systems LLC, a supplier of automotive refrigerant and thermal management components. In this role I was focused on refrigerant subsystem testing and development for various clients. My role included extensive work in automotive compressor lubrication studies both in a lab setting and on full vehicle setups. My previous experience with the Visteon Corporation and it's full vehicle test chamber, a position I held for 11 years, aided in my ability to assist the team I worked closely with to solve problems in a timely manner. I especially enjoyed being a team member on warranty cost reduction teams with our Service Engineering group. A role I would like to expand upon in the future. Previous experience includes direct work for Ford Motor Company in their Climate Control Division. Colleagues know me as a accuracy focused person who can always be trusted to use all the tools at my disposal to get the results needed. But I know that the results don't always meet the needs of the customer, that is where the teamwork aspect begins. Realizing that more than one viewpoint is helpful and can get results for the customer faster is always better. I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
