About Alan Clark

My name is Alan Clark. I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a grade point average of 3.73. I am currently looking for job opportunities to potentially get into user experience or customer support roles in the tech field. During my time as an Anthropology student, I was always extremely interested in the application of Anthropological practices and ideology to that of businesses. My educational background has provided me with an array of skills including being able to research academically, communicate, interview, think analytically, plan projects, and effectively work with others. In addition, my job experience in a variety of different customer facing positions has taught me important soft skills such as communicating effectively with fellow employees or customers, being able to understand frustrations customers face and empathize with them, create rapport with long standing customers, as well as being able to think critically on my feet in order to give everyone an enjoyable and satisfying experience. Furthermore, during my time at UCSB I have learned important leadership skills through my time working as a board member of the Archery Division including organizing, planning, teaching, and enforcing safety protocols. I am looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life and eagerly look forward to what my future career has in store.
