About Alan Cox

Currently have experience in VFX Production, Retail, Freelance Web-Design (Copy-text Writing, specifically), and the Service Industry. I am extremely interested in Film, both Production and -Post, and in Writing (I am always working on stories in my free time, and hope to soon publish a debut novel). I love working with others, and I'd consider myself particularly skilled in written communication; ie, I have a strong sense of grammar and syntax that tend to come in useful when communicating as a professional entity. Attended Capilano University for 3 semesters, Majoring in Creative Writing and Minoring in Philosophy. Have worked a wide-range of jobs, and have learned a little something at each and every one. Am an avid reader, of both fiction and non, and absolutely love learning new skills and information - I consider every task a challenge or problem to be solved! Lateral thinking and creativity have always been particular passions of mine, as well. Love working in more creative industries, with a certain amount of freedom. Can work under deadlines, and work especially well when paired up with or among like-minded individuals (though I can certainly work well with anyone).
