Al has over 25 years experience as an IT professional. He has provided systems architecture, analysis, design and implementation services to large financial services institutions in Canada and the United States as well as to telecommunications, public safety and government organizations. He has extensive experience in team management and leadership; technical, application and solution architectures; software design and implementation; software development methodology and development practices. He has managed and led a number of outstanding software development teams that have produced successful commercial software products. An experienced educator and coach, Al spent two years as a computer science lecturer at the University of Manitoba and has been involved for many years as a volunteer coach for football, hockey and the soccer teams of his two sons.
