About Alan Dennill

I am an IT professional with over 25 years of experience in this field. I am well skilled in the full life cycle of software development, have extensive experience in database design, systems analysis, integration, and deployment. I am a SQL Server database guru, have designed and created hundreds of databases, know how to index and optimize a database, archive historical data, run/dev/create stored procedures, and have considerable experience with SQL Server Agent. I have extensive development experience, especially in UNIX and Relational Databases, namely Oracle, SQL Server, and Informix. I have an affinity for programming and information technology in general. In the past 10 years I have specialized in labeling, the design, database integration, deployment. I support four application environments, Loftware, Nicelabel, CodeSoft and Bartender. In my career, I have worked on and developed software for Apple Macintosh systems, UNIX, and Windows environments. I have over ten years experience in consulting, and have worked on development projects across the USA. I am well adapted to working on site and am prepared to travel when and where required. I work well under pressure, and always provide an excellent level of service. I believe in delivering high quality work to my clients and will go out of my way to seek solutions that not only meet their requirements but exceed them where possible.
