About Alan Fleet

Alan has over 30 years experience providing civil and structural engineering advice on a wide range of projects including rail infrastructure, major developments, existing buildings, urban engineering and public realm projects. Alan recently joined Mott MacDonald from Alan Baxter, having left at the the end of July 2020. Alan's recent experience focussed on rail infrastructure and transport interchange projects leading the designs for the redevelopment of London Bridge station to GRIP3, preparing development masterplans for London Victoria and Bristol Temple Meads stations, and undertaking an engineering capacity options study for HS1 at St Pancras. Alan's major development projects include the commercial development at Snow Hill in Birmingham which included the major reconfiguration of the adjacent highways and construction of the new viaduct for the extension of the metro into the city centre. Alan is focussed on the delivery of good quality sustainable infrastructure and has led on flood risk, SuDS and site infrastructure strategies for a wide range of development, infrastructure and public realm projects. Alan was previously appointed to London Borough of Haringey's Design Review Panel.
