About Alan Gervais
I started at Central Cold Storage as the maintenance technician in November of 2015. I fulfilled this role for the first 6 months repairing lights, racks, cracks in the floors and many other facility issues preparing for our yearly AIB audit. The Operations manager at CCS noticed that I had the potential to become a part of the management team, so they gave me an office and a team of 4 personnel to maintain the facility. My responsibility was changed from working out in the warehouse to updating the outdated paperwork along with managing the maintenance projects for my team. I was able to get all of the audit paperwork updated and back into compliance for the 2016 audit which scored an exceptional rating at 900 points out of I have joined the Monterey Bay Area R.E.T.A. chapter, the SVASD Committee and have taken on the PSM/RMP compliance programs including the facility safety program along side maintaining the maintenance team. my success with these programs earned me the title of Facility Service Manager in February of 2017.
