Background

About Alan Goodman

At TESTD, we have built the first complete system that allows employers, entertainment venues, care facilities, campuses, and municipalities to manage testing for infectious diseases including COVID-19; provides a "safe worker" ID; and features a manager's dashboard. TESTD can also provide vaccine verification. The system - which includes a smart phone app, a tablet app for high volume patient intake, and a desktop dashboard - is secure and HIPAA compliant. Our TESTD interfaces with software at the clinical lab and at doctors’ offices, and stores information on the blockchain for security and privacy. I serve in the same role at Aeryus.com, where we build blockchain solutions for industries including account security, payments, and online retailing. I began my career in media as part of the team that built MTV, and with my partner at the time, Fred Seibert, I developed and popularized the world-famous MTV logo. We forged the look and sound of the network. Later, we re-launched Nickelodeon and turned it into the home base for kids, laying the foundation that made it the #1 Network For Kids for more than fifteen years. We also served as the company’s advertising agency for nine years, and during that time, launched VH-1 and Comedy Central, and created and launched Nick-at-Nite. For 30+ years at MTV, I also consulted on their digital channels, online networks, virtual worlds, and consumer products. I helped forge point of view around image, on-air promotion, day part programming, product development, content creation, and social networking. More recently, I developed the name and identity of COZI-TV for NBC, where I also wrote and produced all network specials for four years. Before that, I was the branding consultant at HLN for CNN and at BBC America, where I also produced pop culture content and specials. Earlier, I worked with Comcast to launch FearNET on VOD and broadband; Studio 3 Partners on the naming, logo and launch of Epix; and with TV Guide Network. At the beginning of my career I consulted with, created marketing campaigns for, or developed identity programs for such companies as Virgin, The Movie Channel, Showtime, A&E, TBS, FOX, VH1, HBO, Headline News, Comedy Central, UPN, and others. Additionally I am an award winning writer/producer of sitcoms, game shows, animated series, specialty comedy writing for celebrities, and mysteries, including one series nominated for an Emmy during my stint as head writer. I also wrote a young adult novel for Simon & Schuster and a comic book for Virgin Comics.
