About Alan Johnson

I am a native of St. Louis, Missouri. I have Associate of Science Degrees in Law Enforcement and one in Corrections from St Louis Community College. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Pillsbury College and Seminary, St Louis MO and a Master's of Science Degree in Religious Studies from Calvary University in Kansas City, MO. I have been a social worker and Pastor/Teacher for over 25 years. I have been a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 27 years. I have over 25 years of combined experience providing administrative support, adult and adolescent chemical dependency counseling and case management services. I am currenyly a case manager for Vivent Health providing services for the LBGQI community and people with HIV. I am a certified Missouri Associate Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MAADC) and Medicated Assisted Recovery Specialist (MARS). I have over 20 years experience as a Pastor. I spent 5 years as a church planter for a ministry organization and 15 years as a Pastor called by churches. I spent 8 years in the United States Marine Corps where I earned two good conduct medals, numerous meritorious commendations, the rank of staff sergeant and an honorable discharge.
