Highly skilled, finance, sales and commercial leader with over 25 years’ experience within financial services, investment banking, retail and hospitality sectors in the UK, GCC and Europe, specialising in financial forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis. • Acted as a board member or contributor for more than 15 years, including 5 years with sole lead of the Sales and Marketing Business Unit, and Finance, of a global FMCG business, responsible for strategic planning, continuously improving and executing the sales and commercial strategy across local and export countries and delivering to budget, and more recently as a Non-Executive Director for a start-up business. • As a board member, responsible for general management of the business and taking the lead on budgeting and reporting, cash flow management and funding • Representing businesses in large tender processes and leading an events teams delivering and attending at events across the UAE, GCC, Asia and Europe either working with existing partners or looking for new partners for territories not yet secured, looking for synergies and new opportunities. • A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), achieving ACCA fellowship in 2016 due to achieving continuous professional development post qualification, also Member of the UAECA and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) • Eagerness to pass on experience to others to enhance qualities within the industries worked • Comfortable at operating at board level, including Trustee Boards, Commercial Boards and Senior Management Teams providing insight and perspective on commercial performance • Subject matter expert in process implementation, budgeting, financial planning and review of accounting systems including Oracle, Hyperion and SAP • Highly adaptive and able to manage relationships to allow efficient and productive working environment with all stakeholders, clearly setting out expectations and processes required • In my spare time I like to travel and DJ, a passion I took up again during Covid and now part of a global network of amazing DJs
