Alan's areas of expertise include income and estate tax planning, business, and investment planning for business owners, and financial planning pertaining to marriage and divorce. He holds BS and MS degrees in accounting and has earned a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Alan has lectured nationally on business development, retirement planning, and financial goal setting for high-net-worth and self-employed individuals. Professionally, he chairs the Investment Committee of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). He is a member of State CPA Societies of Connecticut and New York. Alan is active with the Probus Club of Greater Hartford, which provides hands-on support for developmentally disabled adults. He is a past president of The Box Project, a national organization assisting impoverished families, and the previous treasurer of Journey Home, a non-profit dedicated to elevating the lives of the chronic homeless population in Hartford County.
