About Alan Madsen

I am a Project Geophysicist with a background that spans geophysics, geochemistry, and mineral exploration logistics. Beginning my career in the field and growing into leadership roles, I’ve developed a balance of hands-on technical expertise and project management experience. My work has involved coordinating underground detector installations, leading UAV survey operations, and overseeing multidisciplinary teams in challenging environments. I thrive on managing the moving pieces of complex projects — from planning and logistics to safe, efficient execution — while keeping an eye on innovation and data quality. I enjoy the challenge of working in remote and rugged conditions where problem-solving, adaptability, and clear communication are essential. Motivated by both physical challenge and technological curiosity, I bring a skillset that bridges field operations, geophysical methods, and project coordination. I’m especially interested in applying new exploration technologies and refining operational workflows that improve safety, efficiency, and outcomes across the mining and mineral exploration industry.
