I joined Transamerica as a Lead Risk Analyst in October 2016; I have been involved mainly in risk management and quantitative investment projects. On the side I also work on machine learning research problems with a geometric flavor (most recently, adversarially robust modeling and understanding the human splicing code).I graduated with a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Utah in August 2016 with a thesis on Algebraic Geometry.
